The Sofitel. That strip of beach is the best on the island, in my opinion (and many others'!).

I can speak to the Sheraton Moorea. The resort beach itself is not super wide or deep. It is proportionate to the number of hotel guests who would be on that beach. So, personal space, view and access is very nice. Sand is fine. The water is so very clear throughout the lagoon. The corals are nicely dispersed throughout the sand bottom lagoon. There wasn't the debris, loose rock, seaweed that although natural, aren't conducive to pleasant use of the water. We thoroughly enjoyed it.

No comparison, beach-wise -- definitely the Sofitel, on one of the loveliest beaches on Moorea!

The Sheraton's beach is man made. The Sofitls is natural
Hands down the Sofitel wins the Best Beach on Moorea Award
