The 4 Seasons website accepts reservations starting mid October. They say the hotel might open earlier. I just booked it for our 3rd trip for Christmas week! They have a special - 5 nights/one free running. Would be great to put all the updates about this exciting new hotel in one place... Can't wait

It was suppose to open in June this year but as with everything was pushed back. They are still trying to sell the home sites but I have not heard how that is going. I hope they can give and maintain the excellent Four Seasons service.

The management is in place (they rented the Topdive hotel for them which closed in January) construction is still going on, certain places in the final stages others a lot to be done. The private residences have not been built at all, it remains to be seen if they'll ever will be, maybe with the next government change on Tuesday, who knows. The hotel is absolutely breathtaking Snowboarder they also have been training staff since last October so I am sure service will be up to usual FS's level!!

Even I have to say it, the Four Seasons service is the only thing that could lure me to the east side of the BB lagoon. They rock.

WOW snowboarder, do you know photography or what!! Just looked at your pics for the first time and they are amazing. The best I've ever seen. Are you a pro or just naturally that good at taking photos? How much was the heli ride? Going back in november and would like to try that! You should talk to BB tourism and sell those photos.

Great pictures snowboarder! do you have any pics of the wedding chapel by any chance? I love the 4 seasons, they have great service and they don't nikel and dime you( at least in Maui, they did not charge a resort fee, cabana, chair and umbrella fees like the other resorts did)

The residences are about $19,000,000 million to $24,000,000 each Last I heard they did not have the ownership stuff ironed out so they can not start the building yet. I was told it was about 50% sold which amazes me. Its only goint to be 9 or 12 of these.

Does anyone know how large the 4 Seasons OW bungalow plunge pools are and if they have direct views of Mt Otemanu?
I have been researching and reading a lot but I am still undecided if I want to incorporate Moorea or spend 8 days in Bora Bora (5 nights @ the 4 Seasons OW bungalow & 3 nights @ the St Regis beach villa) and 1 day @ the IC in Tahiti at the beginning of the trip as I want to experience the marche, the waterfront, the roulottes, do some shopping, etc..

Private residences have not been sold , no investors yet who have committed themselves, the parcels are ready and waiting... who knows, maybe with a little more politial stability, Barbion is even talking of building either 15 (as initially planned 7 lagoon and 8 ocean side) or 30 depending on success of sale
Beachlover, the plunge pools are appr. 10m2 at the pres.owb Four seasons at the end of the walkways with view Otemanu. Are you aware that the St Regis and the FS are quite close , you could actually walk from on to the other? FS has 7 beach villas (lagoon side) as well, the St Regis beach villas are lagoon side and ocean side, the ocean side meaning you cannot swim and need shoes as it is a dead coral beach (soupe de corail) also they have their heliport in that area, If this is your first visit why not do Moorea and BB?
