Just wanted to share my pictures from my recent trip to Tahiti Nui and Moorea -- I put them on the Kodak Gallery (my first attempt) -- so I hope this works for everyone!

No, I can't see them. We need to have #s after the above url (that's just the generic url that you likely use to get into your own account). Maybe if you clicked on Share Photos, it would give you the longer url?

Once more - maururu roa to Barbi - who is my savoir in helping me post my pics here! What a good friend!
My pearl necklace was actually from my 5 year ago trip -- the pearl hanging down from it was the carved black pearl that I bought on this trip -- I absolutely love it and only remove it when I absolutely have to! So unique! I bought it at the crafts fair when the cruise ship came in on Thursday.

Just a warning -- be careful wearing your pearls all the time! I have done that for years, and have actually worn them out and had to have some replaced after 2-3 years (FOUR TIMES!!). If you are not really careful, the nacre can wear through from constant exposure to your skin and chemicals; little white spots appear, and they lose lustre. They don't like shampoo or conditioner, so don't wear them in the shower. They HATE chlorine, so never wear them in a pool! And keep them FAR away from hair spray and perfume! Clean them at least once a month (once a week is better) with some olive oil, and they will shine right up again... Be kind to your pearls and they will love you for a long time!
