Hello,
Has anyone stayed at Tarariki Village? I know they have a small beach, but I was wondering whether there are any shops and restaurants in the vicinity.
Thanks in advance for your replies! Job

Never stayed there but Les Tips beach restaurant and dinner restaurant are nearby. I believe there is a small convenience store right there by Papetoai but maybe Barbi or Hamara can confirm that. Le Petit Village would be the closest shopping area which is probably 5-10 minutes by car. There are also a few more places to eat near Le Petit Village.

LOL - don't know whether that advice was for me or Job but I guess either is appropriate. Sorry Job, Tarariki Village is not the place I was thinking of - Tarariki village is in Haapiti around the west/southwest side of the island. There isn't too much around Tarariki that you can easily get to without a car, in fact, I can't recall seeing any place nearby when I drove around the island . Le petit village is probably still the closest shopping and eating area but probably closer to 10 miles away. Linareva is a few miles north of you but still another mile or 2 further until you start to hit some small places. If you plan to do any shopping or dining out, you might want to consider a car or hitch a ride.
