Hi Everyone, This is my first time on the forum. I am planning my honeymoon in Moorea and Bora Bora starting 9/28. The travel agent put a package together for a Deluxe Garden Bungalow in Moorea at the Sofitel and an Emerald OWB at the Intercontinental Thalasso in Bora Bora. Does anyone know if we should request a certain bungalow number at the Sofitel for the Deluxe Garden? I don't want to end up having a bad view or a noisy area. Our goal is to relax and swim etc.
Thanks!

the Sofitel in general isn't a noisy resort anyway. so you wont have a problem with that, even on the beach with clients. the only noise you'll here will be at night when the waves hit the reef out in the lagoon. if the wind is blowing in the right direction it will sound like thunder in the distance. good to sleep to.
you can request certain bungalows, and depending on now full the resort is you can change your room when you get there if you dont like it. all rooms have been redone and are wonderful. i've been going there for 18 years and never really had a problem. well.... only once, but that director is gone.
good luck on your vacation and show us some pictures when you get back.
