Thanks STM. I just checked them out. Looks like a good time was had by all. I know they were still talking about it when I was there in Feb.

CBH is Club Bali Hai. It's on Cooks Bay so your view is an incredible view of the mountains and the bay, but it isn't the colourful lagoon that most of the other resorts offer. CBH is more of a 3 star mini-resort so don't expect what the huge 5 star resorts offer, but if that's fine by you (it is by us), it's a good option. It's a short walk to the village of Paopao where you can buy groceries, etc., which is a big plus (and not far from Maharepa, a bigger shopping/restaurant area). We stayed at Pension Motu Iti, a smaller property on the lagoon itself, and had a much longer walk to groceries so we ended up spending more at the restaurant (mind you, Motu Iti is much less expensive, too). What are you looking for? Overwater bungalow? Beach bungalow? Tahitian-run? Kayaks? Canoes? Snorkelling? Walk to a town? View of mountains? View of lagoon? View of motus (the little islands)? If you give us an idea of what you're after, we can give you a better idea of what would suit you.
