Any info on Heiva Fete or Bastille Day??

I looked on the Tahiti tourism website and it listed several events but no specific times/dates. We will be there in July and would like to find out if the best time to visit Papeete would be on the 14th? We are staying in Moorea so wondering what the ferries would be like on that day? Wouldn't mind seeing the parade, some dance exhibitions along with some art/crafts. Also, do they celebrate this on Moorea? Does anyone have information or suggestions? Thanks.

I have been searching for this year's Heiva schedule too. It usually comes out at the end of May, and if I find it (or get it by email from friend in FP), I'll post it here. The Moorea ferries have been packed in prior years on Bastille Day, but there's always enough room, and it's a fun day -- lots of families dressed in "themed" outfits with matching colors, carrying mats to sit on, coolers with drinks, and lots of ukeleles onboard! (By the way, no alcohol is sold in stores on Bastille Day, but you can still get a Hinano at a bar or restaurant.)

July 19 and July 26: 3rd and 4th Training Selection for the Championship in Taaone/Pirae, Tahiti.

Hopefully there will be some events still happening while we are in Papeete on the 18th and 19th. Does anyone have knowledge of events on Raiatea or Rurutu?
