The 100's are on the southernmost pontoon so no problem with that.

Sunset OWB 42 is where we stayed. The Premium OWB on our jetty was 41. It actually faces south, so you don't get the sunsets. 42 faces true west and we got the sunsets EVERY day. 42 will get you privacy (these bungalows are along way away from the general resort, so you need to appreciate the walk). We loved that bungalow and are planning to stay there again (when we can afford to go back!). It is by FAR the best place we have EVER stayed. I'm jealous that you are going to Le Taha'a. Just kick back and relax - you'll put yourself to sleep dreaming about the place when you get back to reality. Easily the most beautiful place on the planet!!!!

Is there anything better than a sipping a Tahitian Mai Tai on an Overwater Bungalow in FP?

Thanks for the info everyone! We actually got the BB view end of pontoon, which has no view of Bora Bora. We were in #9 and though we loved the end of pontoon, the privacy was nonexistent. We had a cruise ship off our bungalow the entire first day, and then catamarans off the bungalow the rest of the trip until the morning of our last day. Luckily we had late checkout! We decided next time we would request the bungalow we stayed in 4 years ago which was #7. It actually afforded a little more privacy.

BTW, we thought we'd hit the water one night off the bungalow. While in the water, we jokingly said something about Jaws. The next night we actually saw a small shark while walking down the pontoon to dinner. Needless to say, watch where you're swimming at night! Thank goodness this we thought this was funny!
