We should be here on the island next time you come through. Did you try Little Village in Chinatown, Honolulu on your last swing through Hawai'i? I'm getting to know a lot of the good eating places here as each day passes.

Rodjune: We didn't make it to Little Village but we will. We want to layover in Honolulu and do a day's research on Moorea at the Bishop Museum. They have over 5000 pictures taken long ago.

Bob, be careful of doing a layover in Honolulu now that HA has changed the luggage weight rules! After June 10, you will only be allowed 1 checked bag at 50 pounds from SEA to HNL or from HNL to SEA because the stopover turns you into a "domestic passenger" for that part of the trip if you have to recheck your bags after the stopover! You no longer get the international weight allowances (2 bags at 70 pounds each) on the entire itinerary if you stopover overnight in HNL on the way to PPT or on the way home instead of going straight through on the same day. (You are one of the few people I know, who, besides me, needs every allowable pound of luggage!) That's a difference of 90 pounds per person in allowable free checked luggage! And their excess bag and excess weights are pretty hefty...
Maybe it would be better to do the stopover in HNL on the way BACK from PPT (when your luggage is lighter)?

How right you are. I recently bought some Hawaiian Holdings stock and am having a great time complaining about some of their dumb rules as an investor. It seems they pay more attention to an investors than to customers.
If my complaints come out in my favor I'll post the results.

Bob, I've been away from here for a while and am clueless on many things that has happened in the last several months. I was not aware that you made another adventure to Hawaii. We wanted to make the Bishop Museum on the last cruise, but no time, so must go back and make the time. I know you have been there several times. So, what's with this wonderful summer of 2008 weather in WA state...got snow ==>> still!!! {:>)
