Does anyone know how Maluha is doing, everything OK with pregnancy? She should be due fairly soon.

I was thinking the same thing. She told me she'd email me when her ultrasound indicated if the baby was "a mermaid or a diver". I expect she's just gotten very busy moving to Moorea for the birth next month!

I emailed her Friday and it didn't go through. Received a "still trying to send" message through Outlook. Said there was a problem with her mailbox. If I get a response, I'll post it here.

I think she is due in August. From what she had told me in Feb, she woud be moving to Moorea in June for the baby's arrival.
If you can't get in contact through her email, try contacting Florian at the Raimiti or Linareva website email address. He'll be able to eitehr pass on the message or give you the answer himself.

Here is her response...
Yes we are still planning to go and to stay on Moorea but not at Linareva, Patea has is own house in Afareaitu (not to far from Motu Ahi the Lagoonarium). We are leaving Raimiti the 15th June.
In fact I don't know if we will coming back to Raimiti with a little baby......a little girl....(so cute), I saw her into the little TV, she was with her fingers into her mouth and then we could saw her smiling !!!! It was really GREAT !!!
I will have internet connection on Moorea, so let me know where you will be.

Awww...a little girl!!! I was wondering if and when she'd go back to Raimiti. It will indeed be a very difficult place to care for a baby. A toddler too. By the time the child is ready for Raimiti she will be ready for school.
I know the people who run the Kia Ora Sauvage have their children there living with them, so I imagine she could do it. But it will be a challenge. I do hope she is able to come back. I know she truly loves living there.

A mermaid! How exciting for them. I would think Raimiti would be okay for a baby/toddler, but you'd want more stimulation as they grow older (plus schooling). It sure would be an interesting life!

Thanks, Joe! Good to hear things are going well for them. I guess Moorea will be a bit safer for a baby and especially for a fast-moving toddler...
