We actually thought about going back next year with the kids hoping they would have another sale with the free kids tickets from JFK! And you're right, inter-island fares are ridiculous. However, when you're faced with a $1000 for a helicopter from BB to Tahaa, the $1000 for our AT flights from Papetee-BB-Riatea-PPT seemed reasonable! And that was $1000 total for the two of us. Maybe you should go to another island and get the air pass so it seems more worth the money! BTW, how is Club Med now? We went to BBLR for our honeymoon and then to Club Med the second week. We were not impressed after the first week of luxury. It was our scheduling fault, should have done BBLR second. It was only open 6 months at the time, so was in its glory days! But we were told by a friend who's local that it would be a great place to stay with the kids if we do go with them next year. Any thoughts?
