loveners loveners Junior Member Registered: 06/24/08 Posts: 13 Loc: new Zealand	Hello, Just wondering if anyone had any recent views on which 4 wheel drive tour operators are best on Tahiti Island? Anyone been with:Natura Expeditions / Patrick Adventure / Tahiti Safari Expeditions recently?? We are ideally seeking a 4 wheel drive tour that will take us across Tahiti (north-south or south-north) via Papenoo and Tahiria river valleys taking in both waterfalls and lake vahiria basin. We are a 30s couple that don't like things that are over-commercialised. Your thoughts are much appreciated. Loveners (first time posters...) New Zealand

I took Patrick's 1/2 day tour of the Papeno'o valley when I was there last April. He was a nice guy and very knowledgeable about the flora, fauna, and geology of Tahiti. I believe he still does a full day tour across the valley with visits to the waterfalls and Lake Vahiria. I've read good reviews about Tahiti Safari but I've never used them. I am debating taking Tahiti Safari when I return just to try someone different but Patrick was a nice guy and I would highly recommend him.

We actually read in Jan Prince's latest book that she likes Patricks tour as well!! _________________________ Is there anything better than a sipping a Tahitian Mai Tai on an Overwater Bungalow in FP?
