Hi, Anybody knows if we can have breakfast in our bungalow ?? Is it worth it ? we have the breakfast included in our package and if i'm right it is a buffet at the restaurant. Same question for dinner. As anybody had in room dinner ? was it just room service or can you get them to serve you dinner in your bungalow ??? Any idea of price ?? Thanks a lot

Hi Ninou
We stayed there in Nov 2007 and we had prepaid the MAP (breakfast and dinner option). I asked the resort if we could have room service but they told me that we would lose our prepaid meal offer (ie they would not offer room service with the prepaid MAP). Let me know if you require any more info - hope this helps.

Hi Gary and Cath, how was the prepaid dinner at the IC Thalasso, was it worth the money? Could you choose a la carte or only selected items? We are planning a trip to the Thalasso in December and we´re not sure if we should book only breakfast or also the dinner option. Kind regards STEFFI

Hey Steffi, The MAP deal (breakfast and dinner) is, as you said, the buffet breakfast in the restaurant. The dinner is on a points system - you are allocated so many points for dinner, with certain meals a higher points value (obviously lobster is the high point meal). Having said that, I (Gary) don't eat dessert, so I had lobster every night there apart from the "Islands of the World" night. As Cath said above - if you want room service, then it will be charged extra (the whole meal) without credit to your MAP deal, so, in a nutshell, if you don't eat in the restaurant - you pay. If you eat at the restaurant on a MAP deal, then you count the points - if you go over - you pay the extra. If you get room service INSTEAD of going to the restaurant - you pay the full price of the room service - without any concessions from your pre-paid meal plan. Hope this helps. Gary.
