Mrswaves how about skipping BB and doing Tuamotus, since you want something new?? Just wanting to confuse you...lol, no seriously there is more to FP than just the high islands and if you really want to discover something else, maybe the Tuamotus would be nice to add

Thanks Poehere! I will definitely look into Tuamotus. DH is pretty set on going back to Bora Bora at least for a few nights. We're always on the lookout for a new amazing place though :)

Also, if we stay at The Sofitel, would a Beach Bungalow be better if we're doing OWB at the other 2 resorts? I like doing both during our stay to mix it up :)

The beach bungalows are wonderful at the Sofitel (they're new -not renovated- and very nice design) check out the specials, depending on what time of year your going, Sof and some other groups do throw in xtras
BTW mrswaves your choice of resorts show you like the nicer ones, whatelse do you want to do on your holiday? diving or relaxing or...?? that would make it easier for suggestions

Thanks Poehere! We loved the Sheraton but stayed in an OWB there and Beach Bungalow at Le Meridien, so this time around we'll switch it up!

Also, I know when staying at Le Meridien we took the ferry to a small dock then were picked up there in order to get into town. Does that work the same for Thalasso? Do they drop you at a smaller dock then you get your own transportation into town? Thanks!

No, Thalasso will drop you of at the Intercontinental Moana, Matira, you'd be in walking distance of restaurants, snacks and a small supermarket, to get to the main town you'd have to take a taxi (5 km)

Great news! I'm sure that will be a lot easier then asking for rides and getting taxis this time around. Thanks yet again :)

Reading the convience of being on the main land makes me wish I had booked similiar. I hope I don't regret the Pearl beach resort on Bora Bora. I wish I had taken a littl emore time reading the forum before booking the resort.
I am however using the shuttle boat to cross over and try the restaurants for dinner or lunch.
