Tereva is lounging in a beach chair on Rarotonga right now, watching the loud surf. She had a tiring day shopping in Avarua today, and we couldn't find any stickers for her passport! Tomorrow she goes to Aitutaki -- lots of good photos will be coming in a month or so when we get back to normal internet access!
Bisous to everyone from our girl. She goes next week to visit Auntie Poehere and Uncle J-M on Tahiti.

HELP NEEDED!
With Tereva's return from Tahiti and the Cook Islands in early September, she is ready to RETIRE for now! She will most likely return to French Polynesia sometime over the next year and be utilized in an elementary school project.
The Tahiti Beach Press has indicated some interest in publishing a story about her travels, and I am in the process of creating a hard-cover scrapbook with ALL of her photos and stories in it for them to use as part of her story. As you can imagine, this is QUITE an extensive project, and although all of you have been very diligent in emailing me photo files from her visits with you, those image files are now scattered among my three computers that I've used over the last two years, and I'm having difficulty in (1) locating them all and identifying them with people and dates on her printed itinerary, and (2) being able to print them all as glossy prints.
So, if at all possible, can you who have shared time with Tereva possible get your digital photos of her visit PRINTED and snail-mailed to me, with notes on the back about when and where and with whom the shots were taken? You only need to send me a couple of your best shots with Tereva, unless you want to send more.
My mailing address is: Barbara Mertz, 2552 South Playa, Mesa, AZ 85202. I'd REALLY appreciate this help, and will try to piece together those photos I don't receive from people who don't see this post.

P.S. We MAY even be able to send around the scrapbook when it's completed, for everyone to share who hosted Tereva! It's going to be VERY COOL! :-)
And of course it will be available at any and all T-E get-togethers when anyone requests it...

I don't think I have mine anymore, Barbie. They were on my last laptop and the monitor died so I can't access it. I did send them to you twice so maybe you can find them somewhere on one of your computers. They never made it to Tereva's website (I don't know why) so you can't get them from there. The photo dates (dates taken) would have been late September to early October 2009 with photos of Tereva in the Rockies. One was of her with a sign at the side of the road that said "Te Papa Nui" (it was for a furniture store in the middle of British Columbia, Canada and really tickled our funny bone that it had a Tahitian name!).

Tereva is on the road again! This past week, she took a short trip to LAX to visit with her aunties TahitianPrincess and Poehere, shared a nice prime rib dinner cooked by Uncle Bobby, and slept with her favorite cousin doggie Moorea!
