We (partner and I) are considering doing the Leeward Island cruise. Can anyone who has done a cruise with Archipels or a similar cruise talk about their experience sharing the boat with other folks? Did you get along? We are a gay couple and that might be a problem for some folks. I leaning towards doing it, but I just have this nagging hesitation...Thanks.

Bora Bora Cruises
TahitiTravel offers excellent deals for cruising the magnificent lagoons of French Polynesia.
We highly recommend the Bora Bora Cruises for luxurious intimacy (actually a v.good value compared to the cost of a stay at a 5 star resort) or the Regent Seven Seas Cruises Paul Gaugin for a deluxe but more traditional cruise experience.
Check our Cruises page for more information

I don't think you would have a problem. We did the Rangiroa
Cruise a few year back and enjoyed it. One couple from South America and another couple from Itay. Sign language helped but we had a great time. If you want to put your nagging hesitation email Francois Profit at fprofit@mail.pf the General Manager
and ask him directly.

Thanks hamara. I think I contact him as you suggest.

I would think the passengers would be a real mix of people from around the world so being gay wouldn't be a big deal (it seems to be a much bigger deal inside the US than it is elsewhere).

Thanks oldwife. I agree. I just heard from someone I ran across on the fodors forum, and what she wrote has convinced me to go for it.

Hamara Francois Profit no longer owns Archipels. He sold it a few months back and went back to Normandie - Fracois Guais is still there
