I have finally been released from my six month moratorium on travel and we will be heading to Club Bali Hai, Moorea, from Sept 1-13 and then Hawaiki Nui on Raiatea from 13-17.

We did take a week in St. Croix with friends a couple of weeks ago and although the stay was wonderful--just lying on the beach in the shade and wallowing in the water to cool off, the three leg trip to and from was quite a challenge for me and my new back hardware. I am counting on the overnight trip to Papeete being much easier.

Although I am not allowed to scuba or even snorkel this time, I am still so excited about being there that I'm beginning to lose sleep. I have purchased a child's blow up ring that my husband can tow me around on. This will be novel for us because I always have towed him around while he takes pictures!

Would love to share a Hinano with anyone around!

Right now I am looking forward to being in that wonderful warm water or sitting on the deck in the early morning and watching the activity on Cook's Bay while I sip my tea or coffee and read a book. We have nothing planned other than a tour with Dr. Poole to hopefully see the whales--he has written that he has seen more this summer than ever before! So I will do my exercises and languish in the warm trade winds. Thanks for the good words. Carol
