I really hate seagulls, too. We call them "sky rats" here. It's a real problem with the environment as traveling does cause huge problems, and that causes the problems with the reefs as it contributes greatly to global warming. But I think everyone in the world should travel to foreign countries and most of all, stay there for awhile. We would have a different world if people saw that we are members of the same human family. I pretend that my traveling is offset by the other things I do at home. Denial is great for a lot of things.

I'll try and aim for seagulls just for you Holte!
I wish they would bag this whole Prius nonsense and just work with the cars we have now. I drive a propane powered car to work, not because of the environment but because: I got it super cheap; I can drive in the carpool lane solo and park in carpool parking; it saves me time because I can drive fast; people don't run into it like they do my truck because I work in the Ghetto (It's an ex-cop car). Any gasoline vehicle could be converted to propane and become a zero emission vehicle without expensive polluting batteries and just transferring the pollution to coal buring by increasing power plant energy production like the electric cars do. Propane is about buck fifty less than gasoline too!

On the MN lakes, they are like plagues of locusts. Unfortunately, I didn't think they were that bad in FP. The jetski's I saw there were no worse than the morons at home, where the waves do erode the shoreline because they come within feet of it.
