Another newbie question...

I had thought I'd do Bora Bora for the entire 7 night stay, but now I'm wondering if I should do Moorea for the first 3 nights, then onto Bora Bora for 4 nts. because the island hopping might be fun. However, for those who have been to both islands, would you prefer to spend your entire stay on Bora Bora? I'm just wondering if I'll regret spending my time and money on Moorea after I get to and see Bora Bora? (I have narrowed it down to ICs or Pearls!)
Thanks for helping a newbie!

I would split it up. Both islands are different and offer different things. I personally would go nuts 7 nights in Bora Bora but I could easily stay 7 nights in Moorea

I'd go to both. Seven nights on Bora Bora would be too much for me. And it's it's great to see 2 islands and see what's different about them. I'd do Moorea first (personally, I prefer Moorea and would do 4 nights there & 3 on Bora Bora, but if you really want to see Bora Bora most of all, stay for 4 there). There's more to do on Moorea so that's why we spent 7 nights there the first time we went(and 5 nights on Bora Bora). This last trip, we spent 5 nights on Moorea and could have stayed much longer.

Don't miss the magic of Moorea. I've been to Bora twice and would only go back because The Four Seasons has a kids club!

Definitely go with the "surf (Bora Bora) & turf (Moorea)" itinerary. The only difficult part is figuring out your preference of how many nights on each island and in which order?

I'm anxious to get to and see Bora Bora but will probably do Moorea first to keep the suspense going... lol And would prefer doing more activities to start (Moorea), and kicking back and chilling more at the end.
I'm excited to break out of my "St. Barts rut"! haha That's the best of the Caribbean, but it's time now for the South Pacific!

Yes, most people find going to Moorea first and Bora Bora second the best way (we enjoyed it that way). I bet you'll love the South Pacific!

If you're going to spend a whole week on Boring Bora you could take the Maupiti express for a 1 day visit to either Maupiti, Taha'a or Raiatea, very beautiful unspoiled islands...

I'm used to a whole week of just beaching it when I go to St. Barts- no nightlife there really, no casinos, no golf, etc.- but noone island hops it from there if they know better bc. St. Martin and even Anguilla are a disappointment after you've been there. So... this will be a welcome change to mix it up all in one trip!
