Hi everybody!
I have been reading this forum for awhile now, as we are going to Bora Bora for our honeymoon the first week of November...just 7 weeks away. We can't wait!
My fiance is really interested in parasailing. I searched and found the only people that do it down there, I guess, http://www.boraboraisland.com/parasail/index.html but I saw on that website that it is a seasonal activity from March 1st to October 30th. We are going to be arriving in Bora Bora on November 3rd. Is there any other companies there that offer parasailing, or do you think they'll make a special accommodation for us, since it is just a few days after? I've got their phone number , but didn't want to call the international if I didn't have to.
Thanks in advance!!

We've stayed at the Sofitel Beach resort on BB in mid November last year and they were parasailing while we were there. I think they were doing it from Club Med which was just down the road. We fly out of LAX this year on the 2nd. When are you leaving?

Thanks for the quick reply. Hopefully I can figure out where to do the parasailing.
We are flying out the same day at noon. Looks like you've been there a lot. If you have any tips or suggestions to make our trip better, please let me know. We are staying in an OWB at the Sofitel Motu. Thanks again!

Are you also leaving LAX on the 2nd? We are on the 1 PM flight to PPT. You'll love the motu. Snorkeling off the back side is excellent. What other activities are you looking at?

Well, we aren't really sure yet. I've read that the private picnic and shark feeding by Keishi is good, and I was going to try to do that, but I don't have it booked yet. I thought about the lagoonarium thing, but have read mixed thoughts about it. We also would like to try scuba diving, but neither one of us has done it before, and we don't have time to do any training before we leave, so we might try to do an introductory dive while we're there. The 4x4 tour is the only other thing I've read about, that we might do.
We are going to be there for 7 nights plus the first night in Tahiti. Are you going to Bora Bora or another island?

Our flight out of LAX was originally scheduled to leave at 1 PM, but I got an email from my travel agent on April 30th stating that there was a schedule change, and the flight leaves an hour earlier now. I'll have to check in to see if it got changed back to 1:00.

My res has changed a couple of times. It's now back to the original 1 PM departure. I think they had the time change from DST to Standard time screwed up. We stay at the Tahiti airport motel the 1st night, Vahine Island for 4 nights, then Moorea for 8 more. The Sofitel Beach resort does a good shark/ray circle Island tour if you're interested.
