Banana republic (disambiguation)
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

"Banana republic is a pejorative term for a country with a kleptocratic government, often with a primitive economy and sometimes a puppet state of a major power."

BANANA SPLIT

The casse-croute sandwiches at the downstairs cafe are okay, but cold food. We took a taxi to the roulottes for our last night but the luggage storage place charges by the day - so together with the cab fare, adds up to a typical meal cost in FP.

you can walk to a couple of roulottes (open as of 6 pm) when you come out of the airport to your left (direction Papeete) only about 1/4 mile , but beware the area is soso and you'd need to keep your hands on your pockets and handbag
