Looking for something cheaper than the new hotel in Faaa or Tiare Tahiti. Has anyone stayed at any of these:
HOTEL ROYAL PAPEETE HOTEL PRINCE HINOI NOA NOA HOTEL PACIFIC KON TIKI HOTEL LE MANDARIN NOA NOA
How do they rate compared to a Motel 6? Prices? Web addresses?
This would only be for about 8 hours max til the first ferry Sunday.

Forget the first three and look at Le Mandarin www.hotelmandarin.com It's two blocks from the ferry dock. I have stayed there several times and it reminds me of a 1965 Holiday Inn. If it is not much cheaper than the new Airport Motel I would spend the extra $$ and stay at the Airport Motel You might also try www.fare-suisse.com He picks you up at the airport and takes you to the ferry dock in the morning.

I think Fare Suisse is a good choice too......but remember, only 1 or 2 rooms are airconditioned. Friends from NZ usually stay at Le Mandarin and say it is adequate for their brief stopever on the way to and from the outer islands.

Cool thanks guys. No prices on the Mandarin website but it looks nice. I like retro! Looks like $112 for Fare Suisse.
Not sure if we will be crashing when we get in or ready for some nightlife.
Anyone have the new hotel web address handy?

Thanks for the tip Bob. I work nights so I always have a flashlight with me but I swear my night vision is so good now I rarely need it!
