Hamara, your (and mine lol) favorite restaurant has changed hands. The former owners from Café Koké have taken over after spending 3 months learning how to cook in New York ...

Its been awhile since I was there last but hopefully they can continue the excellent food quality. They could be a little more friendly than in the past, but the food and experience was worth it

Had to pleasure of dining at the "new" Coco's last night, not many changes, food is very good, nice menu, ambiance still a little "stiff" new owner is prob the most skinniest person I have encountered.... hmmmmmm funny way of "walking publicity", wonder if she's gonna put on some weight as time goes by!
I'd still prefer l'o à la bouche although nothing can beat le Coco's setting

Poehere, we usually just do the roulottes and Lou's while on Tahiti. Could you tell me where le Coco and a la Bouche are located, type of cuisine, and average price of food...just a brief idea. Also, are capris ok for women? What about men..can they get by with shorts?

Le Coco's is in Punaauia, pk 12 lagoon side, splendid setting with a garden right on the beach to enjoy pre-dinner drinks, l'O à la Bouche is in passage Cardella (just around corner from Lou Pescadou) both French gastronomic cuisine count appr. 2000 for entree 4000 main course 1500 cfp dessert, decent wine from 5000 cfp onwards, no particular dress code, resa necessary, another good one is L'Agora (Ave Prince Hinoi) on the border of Papeete/Pirae great dining experiences though a little heavy on the wallet lol.
