Hi, I´m travelling to the Thalasso Hotel in December over Christmas. Is there a WiFi Internet Access in the Hotel or in the rooms? If it is, is it for free? Greetings from Munich STEFFI

WiFi in the lobby and other locations (perhaps the pool and by Bubbles but am not 100% sure on the list). Connect through LAN in the rooms. The LAN in the rooms is faster than the painfully slow WiFi. The LAN is still really slow though.

Hi chicagolawyer, thanks for your answer. Is there a fee for the LAN in the rooms or is it included?

There is a fee. I believe it's about $20-25 per hour.
I would caution you against relying on the internet to get much of anything done though. It was incredibly slow. For personal emails etc. it is fine, but if you need to do actual work be wary.

C'mon guys. PLEASE, PLEASE tell me you are NOT thinking about work whilst in Tahiti! Uploading beautiful photos, emptying your memory sticks to hard drive - that should be the only thing you need internet access for (oh, and weather updates and trip reports to Tahiti Explorer, of course). Forget the notebook and cell phone and enjoy some peace and quiet. At least give yourself a chance to relax.
