Another question, do they supply toiletries, or did you bring your own? Trying to keep the weight to a minimum.

Bring your own just in case they don't. You can also buy them
at the store in La Petite Village close by thew hotel.

Thanks Bob. We wern't bringing any anyway. We were going to purchase stuff there if the hotel didn't supply it. I was just curious.

I'm partial to my own brands so I put them into smaller containers or buy little travel sizes of things we use.

They provide those tiny bars of tiare soap, nothing else. Also, bring your own small bottle of dishwashing soap.

So, other than shampoo and soap, how about beach towels? Are they supplied, or do I need to bring them also? Anything else I need to bring that they don't supply? Anything else they don't do that a larger resort would? I assume they have housekeeping for sheets and bath towels and such.

No beach towels, but all other sheets/towels are provided. Housekeeping comes daily, with linens changed every few days. They do not do your dishes. They will also launder clothes for a reasonable fee (was reasonable in 2006, unfortunately don't have more recent knowledge!).

This is really making me want to get back there!!! :)

Eperera, thanks for all the good info. Nice to know about the laundry. We can cut down on clothing. Not that we were taking all that much anyway. Plus, there's a laundry just down the road towards Le Petite Village. But having it done at Les Tips will be more convenient.
It's a ways away, but I'm still getting excited.

Yeah !
I also agree that I would do at least 3 nights on any island. 2 nights on any island is definitely too short. ............ : )
