Rub it in, Inese... I'm so jealous! Have a great time, and say hello to Lucy for us if/when you stop by at RM!

Finnano-we always go to the Relais for the snorkeling and perhaps a lunch. Will say "Hi" to Lucy. She was so nice to me last year when I stupidly got stung by the anemone when I was using my underwater camera for the first time last year. Have you ever walked to the left along the beach when you are facing the water? That might be my adventure this year or maybe swimming out closer to the reef. Who knows? Have you ever done that there or your hubby? Usually we stay pretty close to the shore. Last year I saw that someone had come by boat from the Villas Bougainville , so it can be done. I just can't get back into the boat very easily without huge help if I jump into the water from the boat. But maybe we can find a sand spot to anchor out by the reef. When is your next trip? We have some nice Finnish weather here. We are theoretically getting a snowstorm that will last into Monday (Please, no work for me on Monday!!)The worst is when the snow is cleaned up overnight and work is awaiting in the AM, but the driving is still treacherous.

Oh, you SO deserve your tropical fix! We have a trip to Thailand coming up in Feb.09, so FP has to wait till 2010 or so. At Relais, we have walked many times to the left on the beach - about half a mile in you get to a sort of a breakwater and the President's(?) villa, with big TABU-signs. It's a nice little walk, and I think we've snorkeled there. We also stay close to the beach when snorkeling, but hubby has taken kayak close to the reef. I prefer to lube myself with Hinanos at the beach bar, rather than do all that work that kayaking requires..

It's already announced! No work tomorrow! I hope it's out of it's system because we HAVE to fly out of here on Saturday AM. My daughter and husband went to Thailand a few years ago. They loved it and it was very inexpensive. Have fun! And thanks for the info on the beach walk.
