Hi All, We're planning our 5th trip to FP (people don't understand why we keep going to the same place---they obviously haven't been there!) We stayed at Chez Nono in August 2006 and really liked it. Our travel agent has not received any reply from her request for availability for our dates in October. I booked it myself last time, so I said I would try to contact them myself. It's just been four days, so maybe I'm impatient. I know this is a popular place, so I'd like to get it reserved with a deposit soon. Does anyone have any info? I have heard of several people trying without success to get reservations.....Thanks for the help! Kath

I've had problems in the past contacting small hotels in FP by email. I don't know why exactly but expect it has something to do with whoever is manning the computer. Not everybody speaks/reads English and then there is that wonderful laid back attitude (charming but frustrating to high speed westerners). Of course, it could just be that they changed their email address. I found the following phone numbers for Chez Nono and email address: (689) 67 71 38 Fax: (689) 67 74 27 Email: nono.leverd@mail.pf

It is very possible that Chez Nono is closed right now. It was closed last year when we were in FP at Christmas time. It seems that some of the pensions close down at that time.

Thanks so much for your reply--I did get an answer that they could take our reservation---now I'm just waiting for confirmation. I wish I wasn't one of those people who wanted an answer right this minute :)

Anyone who doesn't expect an answer before they ask the question is just plain un-American!

Hey all, received a confirmation on the two "round bungalows" we requested at Chez Nono for our dates in October. Maybe being patient isn't so hard after all!
