Well, here we go again. We'll be at Les Tips from November 14th through the 27th. If anyone will be on island at that time, lets get together for a Hinano or 12.

Joe,
So you are going to have your turkey dinner at Les Tips next Thanksgiving?

Barbi, you bet. I plan on having a BIG lobster rather than turkey. Along with a great French wine.

I'll never forget a Thanksgiving dinner I had in Cabo San Lucas one year. The hotel had a buffet style full American style Thanksgiving turkey dinner...dressing and all the stuff. I took a big heeping spoonful of the cranberry sauce (which I LOVE!!) and it turned out to be strawberry preserves! LOL! I about choked when I tasted it...expecting cranberry sauce and getting strawberry preserves! OMG...talk about taste bud shock! In the future I will be more careful when eating tradtional American dishes abroad!
Although...I would be more than willing to sacrifice the cranberry sauce for a trip to FP! :-)

Joe, We don't know yet about November. I think taking the kids and grandkids in July will break the bank for 2009. In the event we DO make it then, it would be late October-early November and definitely back home by T-Day.

If you do decide to go, let me know. Another happy hour or 4 sounds in order.

I cant plan that far in advance. Who knows what will happen. I had a retirement plan in 2007. Know my plan is to play the lottery. I could retire with millions or nothing. Its about the same odds as in todays market.

Cmon PA, it would be nice to see Barbi and meet you while on Moorea. You can't take it with you.
