I hope DenverJoe and made it too. I had to fly through Denver on Thursday and Friday. Thursday morning - all was beautiful and clear. Friday afternoon - not so. Lots of snow, my incoming flight was late and I just barely made my connection home and that flight left the gate late and then had to be de-iced before we got out.

Got word from Jacques that Joe and Bev have arrived, and already hosted a happy hour at Les Tips with some of my friends! Argh, wish I were there!

Poehere, they might be "ill" with the FP Flu :). When my wife and I had agreed to meet up with DJ and Bev on Rangiroa in 2005, I recall that he forgot about our get together at the KOV where they were staying; and presumably, due to their jet lag, he seemed to have no memory of "rodjune." It must be that wonderful air of FP and the smell of Tiare that messes with the mind. Luckily, we did meet him and Bev for a drink at the overwater bar and all worked out fine. I hope they made it to FP without any problems.

DJ and Bev came up to Fare Hamara Friday evening for drinks then we all enjoyed a great meal at Aito's. We now have all of the fixings for a "T" day dinner. Looking forward to having a nice
dinner with friends from the Forum

ah...sigh....all this talk is making me remember very clearly our meeting with Bev and Joe in 2007, at the Sofitel in Bora Bora. What was planned as a 1 night meeting at the bar, ended up being before and/or after dinner drinks for 5 nights..... sigh... Somehow our Santa Claus parade this weekend, doesn't quite measure up even though it was a good parade. LOL!

Santa - Bora Bora? I know which one I would pick. Iaorana, Iaorana, Iaorana.

Fantastic Turkey Day Dinner at Fare Hamara. Denver Joe and wife, Vaitape and husband,Poehere and husband,Jacques (the worlds best caretaker), and Mr.and Mrs. Hamara all enjoyed "T" day The food was great and we all lost count on the number of bottles of very good French red wine consumed.

Sounds like you all had a great time! Those of us left behind are all envious, I'm sure (I know I am!).

Did anyone take photos? If you send them to me by email, I'll post a few here!

Tell Jacques I'm sorry I wasn't there to be his "date"! I missed you all...
