That I would take. But, since we'll be in FP, I'll settle for a Hinano and some poisson cru or sashimi. How about you?

I need it cooked, Joe. Not one for the raw stuff. We now have to at least get a photo out front of Macca's! I'd go a grilled lobster or garlic prawns. I'm more of a crustacean eater than a fish eater (Fillet o Fish is the exception). We could always find a Big Kahuna, take away in a plastic cup (2 if Bev and Cath are up to it), and share it whilst eating a Fillet o Fish in the outside seats of McD's Papeete, couldn't we?

What is the fascination with Mickey D'? They have those down under don't they? I'd go for the crustaceans myself. And, unless we meet at a big hotel, I don't know where to find a drink like that.

I'm with you Joe. I NEVER eat at Mickey Dee's here at home...and I would NEVER in a million years eat there in some other country.
I have some friends while in Paris...they actually ate at a Pizza Hut! Can you imagine, being in Paris, eating at Pizza Hut? There ought to be a law against that. It's is just criminal!
I know tons of people who eat at the American chains when vacationing in Mexico. Heck I won't even eat at an American chain restaurant when eating in Hawaii! LOL!
Part of what I love about eating in FP is there really are no American chains over there...save the Mickey Dee's. The LAST thing I want to see is a Hard Rock in Papeete!

C'mon guys. Isn't it like Tereva? Get a photo of McD's in every country you go to? I've had a Big Mac and Fillet o Fish in Oz, USA, Fiji, Tahiti, Mexico, Indonesia, Japan, China, Hong Kong, New Zealand, Singapore, heck, a friend of mine lined up for 90 minutes to get a FoF in Moscow! They always taste the same, so the sell that it is made from "local" produce is obviously a crock. C'mon Joe, at least get a photo in front so that we can post it?

We had breakfast at the McDonald's at Faaa just before leaving on a flight to Moorea a year ago. I have to say we really liked the Croque McDo's that we had there (it's like a croque-monsieur). That and an orange juice tided us over until lunch.

When we were there last November, the wife and sister-in-law ate at McDonalds at the airport. They had the Croque McDo's, and they liked it. I held out for a ham and cheese on a baguette from the snack shop. Just can't do Mickey D's in a foreign country. And no photo's Gary. It just wouldn't be right.

Didn't have any Mac burgers in FP but years back, we did have the ABSOLUTE best Passion Fruit Parfait at the MickeyD's in Puunanuia (however it's spelled!). AND, last time we were in Paris, we walked past a McD's and saw Stella on the menu.....pretty crazy.
