Still working on a solution from here, too... Actually, you only need someone going to Papeete (though Moorea would be easier)! We have friends in Papeete who could assist with retrieval.

Bob, I have just sent an email to Barbara (with copy to you I believe) to bring the thing along and we'll see at Lax if we have the possibility to help you / Jacques out, depending on how we're loaded in hand luggage as our suitcases will be checked all the way through to papeete from Nice.
BTW due to extreme cold weather conditions we are at present both stuck in different European countries, so please all keep the fingers crossed that we can fly back to Tahiti to defrost on Friday LOL
