Take it from a 30 year Tahitiolic. Check your luggage into the lockers. Belvedere has fantastic views and so-so food
but if you want a great selection of food at great prices go to the waterfront in downtown Papeete and eat at the Roulettes.
You could also go via taxi to Coco's or La Casa Blanca at the marina both very good restaurants.

Patti -- You mean to tell me that after going to FP for all these years the TV isn't in English????? Guess I never turned the durned thing on when I was there. Too busy having fun I guess. Oh well, live and learn.
