Las Vegas Tahiti gathering in Feb????

Denver Joe is coming to Vegas the weeknd of Feb 7. Sat-Sun-Mon. We are going to try to get together with him for Dinner? Lunch? Breakfast?...whatever... probably on Sat or Sun...Sooo...we figured if any of you who are in relatively easy driving distance of Vegas would like to come out to join us...we can have another mini gathering!
Let us know and we'll see about making some firm plans.

COOL! Let us know when and where, and we will try to come too! It would probably be better if you schedule the GTG on Saturday afternoon/evening rather than Sunday, for folks that work on Monday.

Well...this looks like it may be taking shape into something....
Travelin' Tom called last night and has expressed interest too.
And now Barbi and Randy...woo hoo....anyone else within easy driving (or flying) distance interested???
Sooo...Joe and I are both thinking Saturday will be better. Just not sure if it should be around lunchtime or dinnertime.
There is a restaurant at Treasure Island (where Joe and Bev are staying) called Kahunaville. Supposed to be Island inspired food and drink. Sounds like it could be a good place for us. I have never been there, so I think I'll take a drive down there tomorrow afternoon and check it out.

Patti, For the reasons you gave in your email, lunchtime would probably work out better -- we'd have the whole afternoon to hang out and gab!
Hey, southern CA people -- Southwest has some great $59 airfares going on right now -- get them before they go up as the date get closer!
Patti and Joe and Tom, We will be there for sure!

OK, so the plan is to meet at Treasure Island at the Kahunaville restaurant at 1 PM. Bev and I will be there! Looking forward to meeting Patti, Paul and Tom. It will be good to see Barbi and Randy again also.
I hope Kahunaville is ready for this!
