I was on the Star Flyer in February. Bringing booze on board would be no problem at all. No one checks or asks. I just have a problem with "sneaking" so we didn't do it. This not to say that we didn't consider bringing our own anyway. Getting caught would be embarrassing. Other cruise lines are very tight and do search everything you bring on board during the trip (everything short of a strip search). For example, one cruise line we were on (Norwegian) was so nasty about it, passengers (us included) got rather innovative. Water bottles could be brought on board so we filled them with vodka. Others concealed bottles on their person under their clothes. Talk about a beer belly! The Star Flyer was so nice about everything, we would have felt bad.

Bora Bora Cruises
TahitiTravel offers excellent deals for cruising the magnificent lagoons of French Polynesia.
We highly recommend the Bora Bora Cruises for luxurious intimacy (actually a v.good value compared to the cost of a stay at a 5 star resort) or the Regent Seven Seas Cruises Paul Gaugin for a deluxe but more traditional cruise experience.

Hey bs13690, How was your cruise? We are leaving on Wednesday for Moorea and on September 3 for the cruise? Any things we need to know? Any report done? Thanks

Just got back from FP with the Star Flyer. It was fantastic. Could have smuggled booze, but the prices are ok. 3.50 for a beer and 3,50 for a glas of wine. 5-6 for cocktails...no problem.

Hallo, all you previous FP sailors,
We just received our package for the 11-day cruise during the second half of this up-coming January.
With the enormous number of excursions offered it is very difficult to decide which one to take. Since there is only limited time available on each of the points of destination, which ones are the must must see. Can anyone make any suggestions?
