Just back from IC Moorea. The manager showed us the new deck (now on one bungalow only) that they will be putting on all overwater bungalows by the end of July 2009 (though I doubt this is possible). The decks are bigger and have a small lower level deck on the water. Part of the upper deck is shaded by thatched roof and part is open for sunning. There's an outdoor shower at the lower deck level. This is a big improvement and they are nicer than the Hilton decks, though the new bottom deck should be bigger for sunbathing. Took a tour of the newly redone Hilton overwaters. Beautiful with great bed but the room is smaller than at the IC. Awesome bathroom with 2 sinks, rain-shower, bath. But the hotel property is much smaller than IC and might be a little claustrophobic for us. But the beds are so much better than at the IC.
