Any suggestions? We have tried both Le Mahogany and Alfredos a couple of times and they seem to be going downhill. Went to Il Pescadore (sp??) about 1.5 km east of the pearl and it was good, but not outstanding and the bugs were horrible while eating.

Thanks. Also, I had the wrong location in mind. It was Le Cocotier that had al the biting insects while we were there. We did like Mayflower, thanks for reminding me. Never been to Rudy's, sounds good, but a little far to walk from the Pearl. What is the small place right in town, I recall blue exterior walls and resin furniture outdoors, right about across from the supermarche.

Are you talking about Le Sud? My husband and I just ate there a few weeks ago for lunch and really enjoyed our meals. We had pizza after we spotted their big brick oven. Pizza was great, the service was wonderful, and the price was right. It was a convenient 5 minute walk from the Pearl and right across from the supermarche.

I agree Le Sud is where MooreaMike is talking about. That was the last place we ate on Moorea, and it was very good. eating outside in the wonderful weather was a great way to finish the trip.

The placed I loved in Moorea was the floating barge restaurant, sorry, can't remember the name but most resorts know it.

Le Bateau at the Linareva. But, sadly, it is no longer there. :-(

I agree with Hamara with the Rudy's. I'm a steak person and their steaks are real good. The sauce that they put on the steak is unreal!! Def, one of my fav's.
Honu iti is good too. Les Tipaniers is real good. If you want a good breakfast... then The Blue Pineapple @ Club Bali Hai is a must! Great food and scenery! Well worth the trip to Cook's Bay.
