a really serious wallet weakening but tremendously fine fusion cuisine experience at La Villa des Sens Moorea

Oh, yum! I'm stuffed to the gills at the moment (I just got back from a VIP tent at the Canadian (Golf) Open) but that still looks really tempting!

Can I ask what each of those dishes are? Not that it would matter...I'd eat all of them regardless of what it was! :-)

Make sure you read with a FULL stomach... lol

small green asperagus with cooked (à la plancha) scallops and warm safron vinaigrette sauce (the "basket" is actually made from cucumber)

Angus beef tenderloin panfried with "fleur de sel" (french sea salt) and pinot noir sauce

Flowing chocolate fondant with creamy vanilla

caramelised whipped cream with strawberry and chocolate truffle


hmmm... nice to have something new to choose from!

It's at the Villas, mountainside, up the hill, very close to the Intercontinental, around PK 25 or 26 on northwestern side of Moorea.

I would have to be tortured at 1:50 am by seeing the excellent pictures and reading the gastronomique menu after we stayed home tonight and ate food from the freezer. :)
