I am will be arriving late Saturday night and have a full day in PPT on Sunday. I was told that majority of everything is closed on Sunday. Can somebody tell me what is actually opened on Sundays and what do you recomend me to do on my only day in PPT?

I was thinking of taking a tour and maybe do some roaming around the city to check out some local stuff.

Any recomendations would be great

Apart from the churches not much open on Sundays.... except for the Carrefour shopping malls in Punaauia and Arue, but there is NO public transportation on Sundays. So really nothing to do but rent a car and drive around the island and stop on the way at different places. In Papeete there are a couple of nice teracces to have a drink, like the Retro at Centre Vaima, Trois Brasseurs ("brewery" with draught beer, Mana Rock Café (all waterfront area)

So I can't take Le Truck on Sunday night from the airport to my hotel?

If Le Truck does have service on Sunday nights (close to midnight), approximately how often do they stop by the airport? Thanks!
