Many of you are planning to celebrate the US Thanksgiving in Moorea, and the rest of us are jealous, since the real cold weather is not that far away. But for those of us celebrating Canadian Thanksgiving this weekend, I wanted to send out warm wishes to you all. The wishes are especially warm today, because the temperature here (in Brampton)today is only 9C, with a low of 2C tonight! Enjoy!

Happy Thanksgiving to my fellow Canadians. We got back from BC last night and are glad to be home. We avoided the snow in the mountains between Radium Hot Springs and Banff (there were flurries when we were there, but this past week the mountain pass was closed several times with snow...we're lucky we got out in time!). Unfortunately, I don't have a turkey thawed to cook it today (and my daughter's leaving for Vietnam, Cambodia & Thailand tomorrow so we're rushing around helping her with packing, laundry, etc.). I think I'll do the turkey next weekend instead!
