Tracey, I just got frisked at LAX too, on the way home. They don't seem to like ladies with baggy sweatshirts, it seems!
Holte, That little outside cement area with the horrible seats is our secret Hinano-drinking, private smoking place, tucked in between Terminals 1 and 2. Luckily, the weather was mild enough for us to spend some time out there, where nobody would bother us.

Ha Ha . Our secret as well. We really liked the one to the left of Tom Bradley, but they have been remodeling it the last couple of times. I don't even know if there will be a spot to sit there anymore once they are done with luggage storage or whatever the heck it's going to be.
I know that most people hate LAX, but we really like it. Everything is easy to find, places to sit outside, although uncomfortable, and no trains to hop that break down and have poor signage.
We should leave you a secret message there. I suppose they would bust us for graffiti though. Just know we'll be thinking of you as we are leaving in LESS THAN 2 weeks. Can't believe it!

Suki, We were sorry you couldn't make it! I don't know Poehere's return itinerary through LAX on her way home, but perhaps she will be able to post it from Europe if she has time to visit during her layover. The outgoing layover at LAX was very hectic and stressful for her and J-M, and they had an awful time with immigration and TSA.

Indeed the "Californian cold" was a nice preparation for worse to come in FREEEEEEZING EUROPE hihihihi just need to drink more to stay warm LOL
Suki... we're heading back thru lax on Friday 15th of January, only 3 hrs lay-over and if we're treated to way we were on the way out OMG ..... :)
