Has anyone been to the Beachcomber in Bora Bora since the renovations in August? Any feedback on it will be appreciated. I'm trying to decide between here and the Sofitel Motu. Are they on the same scale? My TA says "yes" since the renovations. Please advise.

Personally I saw them both in September and the motu looks better to me. Plus I always hear rave reviews about this resort.

Stayed at the beachcomer last August.Lovely hotel overall. Nice beach good service and good food although expensive. It seemed like most of the renovations were almost complete, They were adding additional overwater bungalows, and adding a few dayrooms. I would recommend this hotel.
