Shelbydc - I'll be anxious to see your pictures. Since there's only 2 bungalows, I will contact Kim to see about availability.
After being lazy for so many months, I'm back on the treadmill to shape up for the next trip...A girl needs her incentive...Haha!

Hi Andie, I'm so jealous that you are planning a trip back already. We went two years in a row (2008 and 2009) plus in 2003 and 2005, so now Steve wants us to go to Europe two years in a row (Italy next year, Spain in 2011) and wait to go back to FP until 2012. I really don't think I can wait that long!

Hey Carrie! Nice to hear from you! How's life in LA? Yes, we're having Tahiti withdrawls and it's actually Mike who suggested November...I think he's done with work!! Let's hope it happens. If not, it would be 2011 for sure for our 30th anniversary. And there are so many others places I'd like to go to also, but I'm always drawn back to FP. We haven't been to Europe since 2004, so we're due...
Maybe we'll see you again at Raimiti for another drink?!!

We leave in a week for Tikehau and Manihi and are already talking about the Aranui next year to see the birthplace of tattooing. I think it's more than the flu - maybe a sickness (and definitely an obsession)?

It's a bit of a worry, Joan. Like I said - more of a sickness than the flu, but like Pacific Andy says - "Once you go, you get it". The only thing missing is Once you go and go and go and go and go, you get it.

Andie, that would be great! We definitely want to go back to Raimiti! I feel like I left something unfinished not being able to snorkel in the lagoon because of the strong winds the entire time we were there. Plus, maybe we'll get lucky and it won't be at full capacity next time. Do you think you will stay with the lagoon side fares, or try the ocean side ones next time?

Carrie, I understand your frustration...We were lucky that we finally got to see what it usually look like and it is quite a different feeling, being only 6 and the lagoon being so calm. So, you and I have reasons to go back...You, to experience what it should be and me because I know and want some more!!
We would definitely get the lagoon side bungalow again. I like to look at the lagoon and although the fare are smaller, it was just fine and we didn't mind the bathroon outside.
Ah....dreaming again...!!!
