We'll be on the plane in 24hrs. Doing Patrick's all day safari with Lorio. It would be starting to get pretty cool in Canada about now, wouldn't it? We've had the hottest November on record here (got to 42 degrees C on Sunday), so were already aclimatised for the trip.

We're having a relatively warm late November in the southern central part of Canada this year (I think it's going up to 9C today), but my friend in northern Alberta has -14C and snow today. Have a fantastic time in FP, Gary & Cath!

November is the yukiest month of the year, although like Old Wife say, we are having a mild November. But everything is grey and beige...Can't ski yet (at least in Eastern Canada) so it's a very blah month... It was -4C this morning, drove to work in thick fog and came back home in the same stuff...fog, and now it's only 4:43pm and it's already dark.. Time to get on the horn and book tickets!!

I spoke with Lorio today and she is very excited! She's leaving in 2 days (25th) I told her to say hello to Patrick for me so remind her if she forgets!! She's supposed to ask him if he's coming to ski this year... I'll be thinking of you both....(sigh...!)

Hi everyone - I'm getting as anxious as Gary & Cath :) It's almost dark now here in Edmonton - its ony 4:13 pm..... high today is +1 and we have some snow on the ground. To be honest it's been a pretty nice November so far. Although, it's been -18 and -20 for the past few days in Northern Alberta where my husband works so he's ready to get on the plan NOW!!!!

This trip couldn't come at a more perfect time!!!! Andie - I'll let you know if Patrick is coming to ski - I'm looking so forward to meeting him :)

See you soon Cath!!!

Just checked the weather in Auckland, Lorio. 18 on Thursday and Friday, 21 Saturday and Sunday with some rain/drizzle. We also checked the weather for Tahiti this morning - 32 and storms (but the storms tend to pass by fairly quickly!!) It's 20 here at the moment (Tuesday at 11:30am) - half of what it was last Sunday. See you on Bora Bora, G&C
