Going to FP in July for honeymoon. We are staying at Beachcomber Tahiti, Bora Bora and Moorea and trying to decide if we should get the breakfast/dinner meal plan. Any input appreciated!

This has been debated too many times to count. I think the general consensus is don't do a meal plan but you will find some who prefer to eat all of their meals at their resort and so a meal plan for them is ok. It doesn't save you anything and it limits you. There are many good places on all of those islands to eat dinners at, including the roulottes. Since you don't save anything I would say if you prepay anything prepay your breakfasts. Have a great time.

We have the same itinerary for August and we only got the meal plan for two of the four days that we are going to be at each resort so that we could prepay for some of our meals and experience the local restaurants as well. At the Beachcombers you don't have to get the meal plan for every day you are there.

I agree that the meal plan is not the way to go. While you will want to eat some meals at the resort, it's great to get out to some of the local restaurants.
