Loc: Los Angeles 		Are the outlets at the Kia Ora the standard US 110V?
or do i need to bring an adapter.

Loc: Wollongong, Australia 		Welcome to the forum, Russ. Electricity is 220-240V (the same as Europe), so I'd bring an adapter. If you only want to charge batteries, then there will be an electric shaver outlet (110V) in the bathroom. These outlets cover all pin configurations and voltages.
