We are going to spend about 5 days on Maupiti and are wondering which pension to stay with. We are particularly interested in snorkeling and investigating the island and motus. Does anyone have any recommendations? Thank you.

I have never been there, so you'll have to take what I say with a grain of salt. However, I do know someone that was there and said that one day was enough.
Why are you choosing Maupiti? I only ask in case there are some better options for a five day stay.

Hello MAT we stood at Pension Papahani Jan 2008 2nts check with THE TRAVEL AGENT that runs this site they will take care of you if possible try 2 islands once you are there take advantage ********FP4LIFE*******
