Karen M,
I will be at the Motu in September of this year and have done a lot of research on the resort. As far as reserving a specific bungalow #, most of the posts from experienced FP travelers on this forum will tell you that it is a long shot! The resorts generally do not hold or even take specific bungalow # requests anymore because so many people have been making them in recent years. The bungalow # you will eventually get will largely depend on how full the resort is upon your check-in, the time of your arrival, and a lot of luck. It never hurts to make your request upon check-in, and the staff will accomodate your request according to what is available at that time, but requesting or "holding" a specific bungalow # for someone in advance is not something that is done, even if a travel agent is able to put in a request. The policy just seems to be "first come, first served". But from what I hear, you will not be disappointed with any of the bungalows at the Motu. Have a great trip

KarenM.
The Motu will take requests but they will not guarantee them. I requested thru the TA and e-mailed the motu directly.

Thanks Everyone for the feedback! We have booked an OWB at Sofitel Motu! Now we just have to wait 10 months until we go!
