Moorea Pearl OWB recommendations?

Will be going to Moorea in March and have decided to take advantage of the Pearl's 3rd night free deal. I don't know if I want to spring for a premium OWB or not. From the pictures, it looks as thought the standard bungalows have almost no view of the ocean, but may have views of the mountains, and could be closer to the better snorkeling. Any opinions?
Also, I've seen people on this forum ask about specific bungalows - will the Pearl let me book a particular bungalow? If so, does anyone have any recommended ones?
Thanks

The standard bungalows face towards the resort and, with one exception, are in very shallow water close to shore that can often be murky and has little snorkeling. For the good snorkeling, you want a premium overwater bungalow. AFAIK, the Pearl will not let you book a specific bungalow (most-- all?-- hotels do not); you can make room requests, but they are only requests. Honestly, I wouldn't get all caught up in the room request game.
