Yeah. The big lemon was coming straight at me then turned at the last minute. From all of the diving that I have done with sharks, I've never had one come straight at me then turn like that. Lucky I had the camera working all no one would have believed me.

Nice close encounter with a manta Gary and Cath. I have only gotten anywhere near this close to a manta while snorkeling the Florida keys.

Thanks Ryan, the underwater shots have been colour corrected on Photoshop - it brings out the natural colours and even the pink sand!!
Yeah, the Manta experience was awesome. It was breeding season while we were there, that's why there was so many of them. I was diving with a couple from Canada who had stayed at Rangiroa before coming to BB and they had Hammerheads there but unfortunately I didn't see any in Tikehau or Manihi - BUMMER!
