Oh man, I'm so terrified about making my flight tomorrow!

I have a 4.5 hour window between my United arrival at LAX and the Air France departure. BUT...the flights between Vegas and LAX are being delayed right and left the past 2 days because of the weather. Like 3-4 hour delays (or more!)!!! A 4 hour delay and I will miss my flight...a 3 hour delay will probably cause me to miss it too. So much for leaving a 4.5 hour window between flights. :-(
There's no seats available on the 3 earlier flights. I might just go to the airport early anyway and try to fly standby if there's a cancellation or something...or just pray that the weather calms down a bit tomorrow.
Not a fun way to be starting my vacation. :-(

Good idea to go early (plus you know you won't be held up going through security that way, too). Fingers crossed here that your flight won't be delayed.

So far today, Southwest Airlines is showing its flights between Vegas and LAX to be flying on time. I hope Patti makes it without any problems! (Patti, lucky for you you weren't flying YESTERDAY, when it was a total mess here in the west!)
When weather situations cause delays, a lot of the airlines go into a "SODA" (Operations Disruptions) mode, which allows you to switch to another available flight without any change fees. It's always good to ask about if you face this situation. Make sure you always have a valid contact phone number on your reservations so the airlines can notify you of any rerouting immediately.

Yep Barbi, so far today it looks pretty good. And so far the weather here in Vegas and in LA looks pretty good. But with all these inter connecting flights, I also have to worry about the weather in Phoenix, SLC, SF, SD, and a few other cities. Let's hope that doesn't change in the next several hours.
I have a large enough window to be able to deal with a small delay..of up to about 2 hours. Anything over that and I'm in trouble. I'm heading out the door in a couple hours.

Okay, it's still looking pretty good. No flight delays at all so far today. In fact, many of the flights are leaving and arriving 3-4 minutes early. I'm breating a lot easier right now.

I'm here in southern california experiencing the storms. They really aren't as bad as the news is portraying them to be. It's just a matter of everyone freaking out since we don't normally see rain that often. The world really isn't going to end.
Most of the flooding in our area - so far not too bad. Flood control hasn't been updated since the 1960s or 1970s and isn't adequate for all the new building in the area over the years. I'm not too close to any of last year's fire areas that need to worry about mudslides.
